Rosspoint coasts past Cawood

Brett Wes Johnson and Colby Johnson each scored 11 points as Rosspoint defeated visiting Cawood 53-26 on Tuesday.

Jace Noe led Cawood with 12 points.

Rosspoint claimed a 37-30 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Jayce Brown scored 15 and Gunnar Johnson added 11 to lead the Wildcats.

Jake Brewer and Brady Smith scored 11 each to lead Cawood.

Daniels powers Devils to victory

Led by Connor Daniels with 11 points, Wallins rolled to a 42-23 win Monday at Black Mountain in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.

Reggie Cottrell led Black Mountain with eight points.

Shemar Carr scored 14 points to lead Black Mountain in a 33-28 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.

Tanner Daniels led the Devils with 12 points.

Dion Brown and Aidan Reynolds scored 10 points each as Evarts edged Cumberland 31-29 in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action Tuesday.

Jonah Mumford scored 12 and Junior Sanchez added 10 for the Redskins.

Jacob DeLeon and Brenton Bargo scored nine each and Hayston Bennett added seven as Evarts rolled to a 41-13 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.

Evarts won 4-2 in a fourth-grade game.

The Wildcats defeated Green Hills 39-29 on Monday in fifth- and sixth-grade action.

Bargo led Evarts with 14 points.

Ethan Huff scored 16 to pace the Falcons.
