“This was a big win for our team,” said Harlan coach Jonathan Lee. “It’s great to get the confidence that a victory brings. I am proud of these kids on how they responded on a hot Saturday facing a talented team from the north that got up on us early. Our secondary shut down the passing attack and held them scoreless the second half. We have a lot of room for improvement, but this was a significant step for our team.”

Harlan (3-2) will play at Lynn Camp on Thursday.
