The Loyall United Methodist Women met on Oct. 23 at the home of Carla Hammons. Barbara Wills opened the meeting with prayer.

George Ann Lovely called the meeting to order, read the minutes and gave the treasurer’s report from the September meeting.

In the business meeting the women were reminded to bring toys to be given to Mike Howard’s Santa Mission.

The items for the Ann Heck Food Pantry at the Harlan United Methodist Church for November were: Beef stew and boxed macaroni and cheese.

The women voted to purchase toiletries for the girls at the Hope Center.

The women scheduled the monthly meetings and programs for the year 2018.

The women closed with prayer.

Refreshments were served to Barbara Wills, Kathy White, Brenda Sullivan, George Ann Lovely, Johnnie Hagy, Audrey Saylor, Beverly White, Vickie Gibbs, Sue Estep, Susan Welch Jennifer Moody and hostess Carla Hammons.

The next monthly meeting was scheduled for Dec. 4 at the home of George Ann Lovely with pastor Arnold Hammons presenting the program.
