Evarts continued its unbeaten streak into the county tournament, rolling past Green Hills 41-21 on Saturday as Aliyah Cloud scored 14 for the Lady Cats, followed closely by Jaylin Smith with 12 points and Jaylin Preston with 11.

Serenity Whitehead led Green Hills with 10 points.

A leak in the James A. Cawood Elementary School gym roof forced the other games to be shifted to Monday.

Black Mountain edged Rosspoint 36-30 in overtime as Hannah Turner and Isabelle Kirby led the Tigerettes with 11 points each.

Haley Austin paced Rosspoint with 13 points.

Scarlett Rowe led a balanced Cawood attack with nine points in a 39-18 win over Wallins.

Taytum Griffin scored all of the Lady Devils’ points.

James A. Cawood closed the first round with a 35-11 rout of Cumberland as Keely North led the Trojanettes with 14 points.

Josalyn Lee scored four to lead the Lady Skins.

The semifinals are set for Thursday with Evarts playing Black Mountain at 5:30 p.m. and Cawood taking on James A. Cawood at 7 p.m. The consolation game is set for Saturday at 10:30 a.m., with the championship game to follow at noon.
