Harlan had five players score in double figures on Wednesday as the Lady Dragons downed visiting Middlesboro 64-52.

Angel Wynn led Harlan with a team-high 13 points. Emma Owens, Kylie Noe and Faith Hoskins scored 12 points apiece. Aymanni Wynn added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Kailey Owens powered Middlesboro with 28 points. Grace Gent scored nine.

The Lady Dragons took an 18-8 advantage after one quarter behind six points from Angel Wynn and five from Aymanni Wynn.

Harlan held a 29-19 lead at halftime.

Angel Wynn scored five points and Noe added four as the Lady Dragons led 45-28 entering the fourth period.

Owens fired in 11 points in the fourth quarter for the Lady Jackets, but Harlan held on for a 12-point 52nd District victory.

Harlan rebounded the Lady Jackets 33-26. Noe pulled down 11 to lead the Lady Dragons. Middlesboro had 20 turnovers while Harlan had 13.
