Knott edges Lady Bears in JV, frosh doubleheader

Harlan County dropped a junior varsity doubleheader Tuesday at Knott Central by a combined three points.

Brooke Mason scored 21 points as Knott won 47-55 in junior varsity action.

Sophomore guards Kelly Beth Hoskins and Jacey Lewis each scored 18 points to lead the Lady Bears.

Knott won 37-36 in freshman action as Kylie Gayheart led the Lady Patriots with 15 points.

Freshman guards Jaylin Preston and Jaylin Smith led HCHS with 18 and 12 points, respectively.
