The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• George Abbott, 37, of Bledsoe, was arrested by probation and parole officials on July 12. He was charged with two counts probation violation (technical violation);

• Lisa Helton, 55, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 12. She was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Benjamin Sullivan, 37, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 13. He was charged with failure to appear and non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Tara Cox, 34, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 13. She was charged with three-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance without proper container;

• Tiffany Johnson, 26, of Huntersville, Indiana, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 13. She was charged as a fugitive from another state (warrant required) with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Zachary Ward, 39, of Asher, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 14. He was charged with two counts non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Bill Witt, 28, of Elkhorn, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 14. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Jonathan Skroch, 24, of Harlan, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on July 14. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Phillip Napier, 32, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 14. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Jonathan Smith, 25, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on July 15. He was charged with probation violation (technical violation);

• Teresa Wells, 35, of Cawood, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on July 15. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Willard Smith, 34, of Closplint, was arrested by Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement officers on July 15. He was charged with failure to appear and non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Melissa Winn, 43, of Wallins, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 15. She was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Jeremy Smith, 44, of Lynch, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on July 16. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Joshua Reynolds, 30, of Coldiron, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on July 16. He was charged with court order and hold for other;

• Antonio Simmons, 42, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department officials on July 16. He was charged with court order;

• Brittany Pennington, 27, of Tazewell, Tennessee, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on July 16. She was charged with failure to appear and contempt of court;

• Billy Curnutt, 48, of Williamsburg, was lodged in the detention center on July 17 to be held for court;

• Jenna Shackleford, 24, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on July 17. She was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Joshua Lee, 22, of Cumberland, was arrested on July 18. He was charged with probation revocation;

• Clarence Deal, 34, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on July 18. He was charged with probation violation (technical violation);

• Vanessa Roberts, 48, of Putney, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on July 18. She was charged with a 30-day sanction.
