The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Malachi Hodge, 30, of Eddyville, was lodged in the detention center on Nov. 15 to be held for court;

• Charlie Smith, 41, of Smith, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 15. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Amy Lake, 41, of Lynch, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 15. She was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing;

• Ronald Jenkins, 47, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Nov. 15. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Benjamin Middleton, 40, of Newport, N. Carolina, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Nov. 16. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to wear seat belts, vehicle only having one headlight, rear license not illuminated, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, no registration plates, reckless driving and failure to appear;

• Timothy Wynn, 23, of Evarts, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 16. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Pete Rowe, 46, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 16. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury) and failure to appear;

• Grover Carlisle, 33, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 16. He was charged with operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license and contempt of court;

• Jessica Simon, 31, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 16. She was charged with a probation violation;

• Timothy Wynn, 23, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Nov. 17. He was charged with two counts failure to appear and contempt of court;

• Charlotte Johnson, 44, of Shepherdsville, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 17. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Jennifer Maggard, 30, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 17. She was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to owner to maintain required insurance, third-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree disorderly conduct;

• Millard Seals, 60, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 18. He was charged with failure to/or improper signal, license to be in possession and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Kayla Mullins, 30, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Nov. 18. She was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury), third-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified), no registration plates and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance;

• William Williams, 40, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 19. He was lodged in the detention center by court order;

• Anthony Smith, 45, of Totz, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 19. He was served with a bench warrant for court;

• Jesse Partin, 30, of Ewing, Virginia, was lodged in the detention center on Nov. 20 to be held for court;

• Roderick Benson, 39, of Lynch, was arrested by court order on Nov. 20. He was charged with contempt of court;

• Tammy Saylor, 45, of Coldiron, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 21. She was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Amy Lake, 41, of Cumberland, was arrested again by Cumberland Police Department officers on Nov. 21. She was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place (first and second offense) and second-degree disorderly conduct;

• George Johnson, 49, of Tazewell, Tenn., was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Nov. 22. He was charged with reckless driving and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Matthew Gibbons, 32, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Nov. 22. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing and public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol).
