Harlan broke a three-game losing streak with a 7-3 win Tuesday at home over Barbourville.

Haven Saylor and Reagan Jones led the 3-3 Lady Dragons with a triple and single each. Angel Wynn and Payton Bennett each contributed.a double and single. Kaitlin Cornett, Kellie Bennett, Kailey Cornett and Makayla Sizemore each added one single.

Bennett earned the win on the mound, striking out six and walking seven while giving up four hits.

Grace Jones led Barbourville with a double and single. Autumn Hamilton and Alexis Helton added singles.

Harlan returns to action Monday at home against Knox Central.

Brandy Adams led a 13-hit attack with her second homer of the season as Harlan County rolled to a 10-0 five-inning win Monday at Barbourville.

Kerrigan Creech pitched a five-hitter with three strikeouts and one walk to earn the win on the mound.

Adams, a sophomore catcher, drove in two runs with a homer and single. Emily Collett drove in three runs with two doubles. Hannah Johnson had two RBI with two doubles. Kerrigan Creech singled twice. Destiny Clark added an RBI double. Nikki Creech, Rhileigh Alred, Allee Galloway and Emily Evans contributed one single each.

Harlan County (4-1) will play host to Pineville on Monday and Bell County on Tuesday.
