Cawood Elementary School celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Sept. 13 by inviting grandparents to have breakfast with their grandchildren. The staff welcomed over 100 grandparents including some great-grandparents in our efforts to honor the special way that grandparents enrich the lives of our children. Principal Melinda Sergent noted, “As principal, I was touched by each family member that was able to come in support of our students. It is a pleasure and a blessing to serve this community. I look forward to having many more events like this and helping make special family memories that last a lifetime.”
