During this year’s Poke Sallet Festival, things looked a little different than normal, as vendors were spread out across the Harlan Center parking lot and many of the contests were held virtually. Harlan Tourism’s Executive Director Brandon Pennington kept his head up through it all, selling 2020 Poke Sallet Festival shirts to guests wandering about. The shirts were made by VIP Tees, using a graphic made by John Deaton for this year's festival. (Emily Sargent | Harlan Enterprise)
Ally Alred, the 2020 Miss Harlan County pageant winner, Morgan Blakley (first runner-up) and Olivia Minor (second runner-up) stopped by some of Harlan’s favorite food vendors set up during this year’s festival, including O Taste & See, Southern Grind Mobile Coffee and Taco Holler.
