The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Carl Collins, 55, of Loyall, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on Feb. 28. He was charged with operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license (DUI), failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card and reckless driving;

• Amanda Stewart, 21, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 28. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500);

• Bobby Helton, 64, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 29. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Candice Rice, 36, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 29. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Henry Fee, 62, of Gulston, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on March 2. He was charged with failure to appear and non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Thomas Tucker, 48, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on March 2. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of marijuana;

• James Howard, 44, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on March 2. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury);

• Jean Helton, 45, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on March 2. She was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury);

• Teresa Simpson, 58, of Loyall, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on March 2. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines and theft by unlawful taking (under $500);

• Tony Farley, 53, of Dayhoit, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on March 3. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified);

• Raymond Jackson, 64, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on March 3. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• William Jennings, 19, of Harlan, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on March 3. He was charged with second-degree possession of controlled substance (Barbituate), possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct;

• Shane Maggard, 22, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on March 4. He was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• Brandon Mynhier, 29, of Wallins, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on March 5. He was charged with failure to appear.
