The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Scott Sargent, 39, of Baxter, was lodged in the detention center as a weekender by court order on Feb. 14;

• Pete Rowe, 46, of Evarts, was lodged in the detention center by court order on Feb. 14;

• Heaven Barnett, 28, of Cawood, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 15. She was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing;

• James Parrott, 40, of Putney, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 16. He was charged with three counts failure to appear;

• William Johnson, 20, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 17. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Frank Norris, 29, of Dayhoit, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Feb. 17. He was charged with a parole violation;

• Lisa Helton, 66, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 17. She was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Ashley King, 36, of Evarts, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 17. She was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Jimmy Pike, 30, of Harlan, was lodged in the detention center by court order on Feb. 18;

• William Norris, 23, of Smith, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 18. He was charged with failure to surrender revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seat belts, no registration plates, no registration receipt, unauthorized use of motor vehicle and operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license;

• Robbie Johnson, 36, of Dayhoit, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 18. He was charged with failure to appear, second-degree fleeing/evading police (on foot), third-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and contempt of court;

• Joseph Smith, 24, of Loyall, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 19. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear seat belts and license to be in possession;

• Nicole Evans, 39, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 19. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Eric Holbrook, 33, of Red Fox, was lodged for court in the detention center on Feb. 19;

• Sophie Farmer, 36, of Loyall, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on Feb. 20. She was charged with two counts failure to appear and a probation violation;

• Grover Botkin, 55, of Richmond, was lodged in the detention center as a state inmate on Feb. 20;

• Adam Banks, 26, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officers on Feb. 20. He was charged with contempt of court;

• Jason Lumpkins, 44, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 20. He was charged with no registration plates, no registration receipt, registration/title requirements for vehicle not operational on highway, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, no operator’s license and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Ken Stewart, 22, of Berea, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 21. He was charged with failure to appear, rear license not illuminated, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence.
