The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Jonathan Johnson, 18, of Loyall, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on Feb. 6. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (no visible injury) and menacing;

• Ashley Kilgore, 34, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 6. She was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury), resisting arrest, menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and contempt of court;

• Brandon Lemar, 33, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 6. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (minor injury) and contempt of court;

• Justin McQueen, 20, of Lexington, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Feb. 7. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Samuel Burns, 46, of Kenvir, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Feb. 8. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence, improper passing and license to be in possession;

• Leisha Long, 40, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 8. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500) and two counts failure to appear;

• Ryan Harris, 43, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 8. He was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place;

• Jesse Faulkner, 28, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 9. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Helen Saylor, 37, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 9. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500) and third-degree criminal trespassing;

• Mary Davidson, 32, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 9. She was charged with failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, no registration plates, no registration receipt, possession of drug paraphernalia and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Tommy Miller, 66, of Totz, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 10. He was charged with reckless driving, operation of motor vehicle while expired operator’s license, failure to notify address change to the department of transportation and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Shawn McClain, 30, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Feb. 11. He was charged with contempt of court and failure to appear;

• Johnny Johnson, 32, of Cumberland, was lodged in the detention center for a specialty court sanction on Feb. 11;

• Waylon Fields, 31, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 11. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Eneshia Turner, 35, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 11. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Donald Wallace, 46, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 12. He was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place;

• Melissa Smith, 27, of Cumberland, was arrested by Benham Police Department officers on Feb. 13. She was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Jerry Gilbert, 67, of Loyall, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Feb. 13. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence;

• Toby Short, 39, of Cawood, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Feb. 13. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines.
