Harlan suffered a pair of recent losses on the road, falling 58-55 at Jenkins on Wednesday and 53-43 at Thomas Walker, Va., on Saturday.

Junior guard Jerrica Thacker poured in 33 points to lead the Lady Cavaliers. Eight-grade forward Alex Ritchie scored 17.

Ella Karst and Angel Wynn each scored 16 to lead the Lady Dragons.

Lakyn Burke scored 20 to lead Thomas Walker. Shelbie Fannon and Abby Bullins added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Karst paced the Lady Dragons with 15 points.

Harlan (9-11) returns to action Friday at Bell County in a girls/boys doubleheader.

Jenkins won 44-30 in junior varsity action as Kristin Thacker scored 19 to lead the Lady Cavaliers. Alexis Ritchie and Skye Brown added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Faith Hoskins led the Lady Dragons with 10 points. Abbi Fields scored nine and was followed by Addison Jackson with seven and Abbi Jones and Ella Lisenbee with two each.

Thomas Walker won 27-20 in junior varsity action as Raelyn Cope scored 19 points.

Jackson and Hoskins scored eight each for the 1-7 Lady Dragons. Fields tossed in three. Jones scored one;
