The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Morgan Allen, 34, of Wallins, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 17. She was charged with a probation violation and failure to appear;

• Scott Miller, 36, of Dayton, was lodged in the detention center as a state inmate on Jan. 17;

• Jason Gibson, 35, of Booneville, was lodged in the detention center as a state inmate on Jan. 17;

• Milton Noe, 47, of Cawood, was lodged in the detention center by weekender court order on Jan. 17;

• Jacob Bright, 24, of Cawood, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 17. He was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Courtney Smith, 30, of Baxter, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on Jan. 17. She was charged with two counts contempt of court;

• James Day, 40, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Jan. 17. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500), two counts operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, speeding (25 mph over limit) and operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license (DUI);

• Jermey Turner, 35, of Boonville, was lodged in the detention center as a state inmate on Jan. 18;

• Misty Maggard, 35, of Loyall, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 18. She was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Derrick Parker, 30, of Evarts, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Jan. 18. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence; minor injury);

• Sara Stanton, 35, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 19. She was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Jennifer Tritt, 29, of Barbourville, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 20. She was charged with no registration plates, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, operating vehicle with expired operator’s license, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• William Norris, 23, of Smith, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 21. He was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Billy Brown, 22, of Cawood, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 21. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Damon Philpot, 38, of Grays Knob, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Jan. 21. He was charged with a probation violation;

• Bryant Maggard, 33, of Harlan, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Jan. 21. He was charged with a probation violation;

• Curtis Pace Jr., 52, of Ages, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Jan. 22. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Anthony Eldridge, 56, of Rutledge, Tenn., was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officers on Jan. 22. He was charged with harassing communications;

• James Walker, 47, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan Police Department officers on Jan. 22. He was charged with two counts third-degree terroristic threatening;

• Frank Norris, 29, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Jan. 23. He was charged with a serving parole violation warrant.
