MANCHESTER — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that slide repair operations will begin on a portion of KY 2005 (mile points 1.000 – 3.000) in Harlan County on Tuesday and is expected to conclude on April 1.

Work and road closure hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
