The MonStars, a local group of second-, third- and fourth-graders, swept four games in the Nashville MSYS Christmas Tournament. Team members, from left, include Blake Johnson, Trey Creech. The MonStars defeated the Bruceton Tigers (40-8), Lakers Elite (21-10), Bruceton Tigers (48-2) and Lewisburg Ballhawks (23-9) to win the tourney title. The team will back in action this weekend in Knoxville in the 2019 Sunsphere New Year’s Ball Drop Tournament.
