The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Josh Harris, 37, of Cumberland, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Dec. 6. He was charged with a probation violation;

• Abbie Brock, 55, of Coldiron, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Dec. 6. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500) and second-degree criminal trespassing;

• Cecelia Osbourne, 58, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Dec. 6. She was charged with failure to wear seat belts, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and theft by unlawful taking (under $500);

• Charles Gilbert, 66, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 6. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to surrender revoked operator’s license, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, improper display of registration plates, failure to maintain register of metals, no registration plates, no registration receipt and failure to wear seat belts;

• Mark Nantz, 45, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 7. He was charged with improper turning, failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear seat belts and improper turning;

• Earl Galloway, 54, of Partridge, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 8. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Jason Russell, 39, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 8. He was charged with failure to produce insurance card and two counts operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Whitney Barrett, 26, of Bledsoe, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 9. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Sheldon Robinette, 42, of Cranks, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Dec. 9. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• William Sevier, 32, of Evarts, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Dec. 9. He was charged with a probation violation;

• Mark Wynn, 30, of Lejunior, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Dec. 9. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Raymond Philpot, 40, of Coldiron, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 9. He was charged with five counts failure to appear and two counts contempt of court;

• William Dillman, 65, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 11. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Ashley Gross, 31, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 12. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Caleb Rigney, 24, of Ages, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Dec. 12. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, only one headlight, improper equipment, failure to produce insurance card and speeding (five mph over limit);

• Douglas Boggs, 37, of Covington, Georgia, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Dec. 12. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts.
