Green Dragons extend win streak to six

Harlan extended its win streak to six and avenged an earlier loss by defeating Pineville 54-44 on Monday.

Maddox Huff poured in 25 points for the 7-2 Dragons. Nate Montanaro added 15 points.

The Dragons won 35-32 in fifth- and sixth-grade action. Gage Bailey scored 10 to lead Harlan.

Huff scored 17, Dylan Cox tossed in 13 and Montanaro added 11 in a 59-35 win over Jenkins on Friday.

Harlan fell 36-27 to Pineville. Will Shepherd led the Dragons with eight points.

Rosspoint splits two games at Hampton

Rosspoint split a pair of games Saturday at G.R. Hampton, winning 31-18 over G.R. Hampton and falling 31-22 to Whitley Central in fifth- and sixth-grade action.

Jayce Brown scored 14 points to lead the Wildcats against G.R. Hampton. Deshaun Smith added 10 for Rosspoint.

Brown scored 11 in the loss to Whitley Central.
