Harlan was eliminated in the opening round of the 13th Region Tournament, falling 25-12, 25-20, 25-15 to tournament host Knox Central on Tuesday.

Haven Saylor, one of six seniors in the Harlan starting lineup, led the 12-13 Lady Dragons with 21 digs and one assist. Madelyn Haynes had nine digs and one assist. Hannah Jones had eight digs, three blocks and seven kills. Emma Fisher added eight digs and one assist. Natalee King contributed five kills, four blocks and one dig. Lauren Nunez added three digs. Emma Owens had two digs.

Corbin won the regional title with a 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16 win over South Laurel in a rematch of the 50th District finals. South Laurel swept Lynn Camp and Corbin swept Knox Central in the semifinals. South Laurel defeated North Laurel, Lynn Camp downed Bell County, Corbin swept Oneida Baptist and Knox Central defeated Harlan in the opening round.
