Harlan County arrest records

The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Robert Goins, 48, of Grays Knob, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Sept. 12. He was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and menacing;

• Chasity Phillips, 24, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on Sept. 12. She was charged with drug court sanction;

• Jorge Martinez, 33, of Hazard, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Sept. 12. He was charged with operation of vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, disregarding a traffic light/sign and no registration receipt;

• Willard Smith, 56, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Sept. 13. He was charged with improper equipment, no registration receipt, no registration plates, registration/title requirements with vehicle not operational on highway, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, rear license not illuminated, failure to wear seat belts and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Angela Collins, 30, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Sept. 13. She was charged with license to be in possession, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, no registration plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, operation of off-road vehicle on private/public land without consent, no operator’s license, third-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified) and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Daniel Blevins, 43, of Evarts, was arrested by Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement officers on Sept. 13. He was charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence; no visible injury);

• Homer Blevins, 79, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Sept. 13. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, no registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Amanda Reddington, 31, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts Police Department officers on Sept. 13. She was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place (second offense);

• David Watts, 59, of Evarts, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Sept. 14. He was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place (second offense);

• Brandon Buell, 34, of Dayhoit, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Sept. 15. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing;

• Jerry Gilbert, 66, of Harlan, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Sept. 15. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, reckless driving, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, speeding (nine mph over limit) and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle;

• Kendal Caldwell, 36, of Bledsoe, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Sept. 15. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Marilyn Goldsberry, 48, of Harlan, was arrested by Knox County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Sept. 16. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Crystal Turner, 36, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Sept. 17. She was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking (under $500) and public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• Jessy Partin, 29, of Ewing, Va., was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on Sept. 18. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Charles Dozier, 42, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies by court order on Sept. 18;

• Jimmy Pike, 30, of Evarts, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies by court order on Sept. 18;

• Johnny Bryant, 30, of Grays Knob, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Sept. 18. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license (DUI), operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, reckless driving, no registration receipt and failure to produce insurance card;

• Tasha Montanaro, 34, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on Sept. 19. She was charged with drug court sanction.
