The following individuals were recently lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center:

• Ronnie Helton, 72, of Woodbine, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 14. He was charged with theft by deception (including cold checks under $500);

• Kayla Middleton, 27, of Evarts, was arrested on Aug. 14. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Hubert Hall, 35, of Putney, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 14. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and possession of marijuana;

• Candace Rice, 36, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 14. She was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing;

• Patricia Mitchell, 27, of Cumberland, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug. 14. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Rickey Slusher, 35, of Beverly, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 14. He was charged with two counts contempt of court, two counts failure to appear and two counts non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• David Bailey, 30, of Loyall, was arrested by Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement officers on Aug. 15. He was charged with failure to appear;

• Whitney Amburgey, 25, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 15. She was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing;

• Brandon Holbrook, 25, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 15. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing;

• John Shepherd, 48, of Gulston, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 16. He was charged with two counts failure to appear;

• Bradley Tucker, 46, of Corbin, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 16. He was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• Brittany Payne, 27, of Harlan, was arrested by Loyall Police Department officers on Aug. 16. She was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Justin McQueen, 19, of Flora, Illinois, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 17. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding (25 mph over limit), reckless driving and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Jacob Bright, 24, of Cawood, was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug. 17. He was served with a bench warrant for court;

• Bobbi Foley, 41, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 17. She was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol), menacing and resisting arrest;

• Billy Halcomb, 39, of Cumberland, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 17. He was charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO;

• Andrew Mills, 21, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 17. He was charged with public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol);

• Brian Edens, 49, of Sweetwater, Tenn., was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 17. He was charged with speeding (26 mph over limit), reckless driving, failure to wear seat belts, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license (DUI);

• Paula Jenkins, 45, of Cumberland, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 17. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking (under $500), public intoxication of controlled substance (excluding alcohol) and third-degree criminal trespassing;

• Jason Middleton, 34, of Gulston, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 17. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Arlie Lay, 45, of Harlan, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 17. He was charged with three counts failure to appear;

• Brad Blevins, 45, of Coldiron, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 19. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to produce insurance card and failure to owner to maintain required insurance;

• Heather Fournier, 29, of Wallins, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 18. She was charged with failure to appear;

• Claude Sargent, 37, of Wallins, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 18. He was charged with operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle and license to be in possession;

• Terra Tuggle, 30, of Wallins, was arrested on Aug. 19 and was charged with contempt of court;

• Stacy Foster, 43, of Cawood, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 19. He was charged with failure to wear seat belts, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• David Saylor, 47, of Coldiron, was arrested by Kentucky State Police troopers on Aug. 21. He was charged with improper parking (fire lane/portion of highway) and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Malachi Hodge, 30, of Grays Knob, was arrested by Harlan County Detention Center officials on Aug. 22 by court order;

• Jordan Farmer, 29, of Ages, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Aug. 22. He was charged with a parole violation;

• Debra Bundy, 64, of Partridge, was arrested by Harlan County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Aug. 22. She was charged with failure to appear;

• William McKnight, 42, of Cumberland, was arrested by probation and parole officers on Aug. 22. He was charged with a parole violation;

• Josh Lewis, 26, of Baxter, was arrested by Harlan City Police Department officers on Aug. 22. He was charged with three counts non-payment of court costs/fees/fines;

• Neri Morales, 31, of Oneid, Tenn., was arrested by Cumberland Police Department officers on Aug. 22. He was charged with no operator’s license and operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol;

• Kenneth Jackson, 24, of Baxter, was arrested by Kentucky Fish & Wildlife officers on Aug. 24. He was charged with non-payment of court costs/fees/fines.
