The Harlan All-Stars advanced in the District 4 Junior League Tournament with a 4-2 win in nine innings over Hazard.

Colby Johnson pitched 3 1/3 shutout innings to earn the win. He struck out six and walked one while allowing one hit. Tristan Cooper pitched 5 2/3 innings with three strikeouts and five walks while giving up no hits.

Cooper, Karsten Dixon, Carter Howard, Isaac Kelly, Caleb Brewer and Johnson had one single each for Harlan.

Matt Pelphrey had a single for Hazard

Harlan is scheduled to play the Leslie County-South Laurel winner.
