A total of 36 runners from the region, as well as contestants from several states ages 11 to 60 years of age, negotiated the course that begins on Central Street to Mound Street and across Ivy Hill to North Main before finishing on Central Street. The winner of the 2019 5K was Caleb Brock (No. 25), of Ages, who turned in the winning time of 20:41. Sean Cooper (No. 43) came in second at 22:20. Zackary Carmical (No. 51) finished in third place, registering a time of 23:22.
