Harlan County added two more summer victories Monday at Whitley County, defeating the host Colonels 57-30 and Middlesboro 62-49.

Senior guard Taylor Spurlock led the Bears against Middlesboro with 20 points. Tyler Cole and Jackson Huff added 16 and 10 points, respectively. Trent Noah scored eight. Jake Wilson tossed in six. Josh Turner added two.

Spurlock scored 14 against Whitley. Huff and Noah added 10 each. Turner tossed in nine. Cole scored eight. Hunter Helton scored four. Jonah Swanner added two.

Harlan County fell 42-39 to Whitley County in junior varsity action and dropped to 3-2 on the summer.

Freshman guard Daniel Carmical led the Bears with 19 points. Hunter Helton scored eight. Jonah Swanner and Josh Sergent scored four each. James Gray and Jeremiah Clem added two each.

Harlan County (6-1) will be at home on Tuesday with scrimmages starting at 3 p.m.
