Lady Bears split final regular season games

Harlan County closed the regular season by splitting two road games, winning 9-3 Friday at Knox Central and losing 6-0 at Clay County on Saturday.

Emily Collett and Hannah Johnson led the Lady Bears with a double and single each. Emily Evans singled twice and drove in three runs. Nikki Creech and Rhileigh Alred added one single each. Collett and Alled each drove in two runs, while Creech added one RBI.

Kerrigan Creech pitched a three-hitter to earn her 15th win.

Emma Hurd pitched a four-hitter as Clay County pulled away with a three-run fifth inning.

Nikki Creech and Adams had doubles for the Lady Bears. Collett and Johnson had singles.

Destiny Clark pitched a complete game for the Lady Bears, giving up only three earned runs while striking out one and walking one.
