The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that a portion of KY 219 in Harlan County (milepoint 1.033) will have intermittent lane closures today from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The intermittent lane closures will be limited to 20 minutes, and are necessary to allow contractors to remove bridge deck panels.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
