Coldiron man arrested on meth charges

On Wednesday, deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Coldiron to assist Probation and Parole. Through further investigation, Greg Stephens, 43, of Coldiron, was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stephens was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with no bond set. The case remains under investigation by the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office.

Nathan Morris, 32, of Keokee, Virginia, was arrested by the sheriff’s office on a Harlan County Circuit Court indictment for theft by unlawful taking and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $5,000 full cash bond.

Chrissey Uhrig, 35, of Coldiron, was arrested on a Harlan County District Court bench warrant. She was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
