Jordan, Kelly team for 46 as Cats defeat Cumberland
Led by Thomas Jordan with 24 points and Isaac Kelly with 22, Rosspoint (7-3) rolled past visiting Cumberland 69-55 on Tuesday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action. Cooper McHargue chipped in with 12 for the Wildcats.
Jonah Swanner scored 24 to lead the Redskins. Akime Sanderson added 12 points.
Brody Napier scored 15 points and Blake Hensley added 14 as Rosspoint (13-2) rolled to a 52-15 win in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.
DaShaun Smith led Cumberland with five points.
Cumberland returns to action Thursday at home against James A. Cawood. Rosspoint plays at Cawood on Thursday.

Dylan Hicks led the Comets with nine points.
Jaycee Carter scored 11 and Brennan Blevins added 10 as the Trojans won 40-31 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.
Jason Fultz and Adam Grubbs led the Comets with 10 points each.
The Trojans will travel to Cumberland on Thursday.

The Wildcats claimed a 45-15 win Tuesday at Green Hills as Chuckie Blackshired poured in 19 points to lead the Wildcats.
Dylan Simpson led Green Hills with six points.
Ashton Sizemore exploded for 30 points as Evarts won 46-27 over Black Mountain in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.
Reggie Cottrell led Black Mountain with 23 points.
Kobe Noe scored 10 points as Evarts won 14-2 in a fourth-grade game.
