Noah scores 14 as Dragons claim win over Cardinals
Harlan won three of four games played at Red Bird on Oct. 27, defeating Red Bird 38-18 and falling to Stinnett 29-27 in seventh- and eighth-grade action while defeating G.R. Hampton 41-13 and Rosspoint 27-24 in fifth- and sixth-grade games.
The Dragons swept Barbourville, winning 33-25 in seventh- and eighth-grade action and 47-17 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.
Trent Noah scored 25 to lead the seventh- and eighth-grade team and Maddox Huff scored 20 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.

Mountain Lions complete sweep of Green Dragons
Harlan suffered a pair of losses in middle school basketball action at Pineville, falling 37-15 in the seventh- and eighth-grade game and 48-35 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Trent Noah led the Dragons in the seventh- and eighth-grade game with seven points.
Maddox Huff scored 16 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.

Dragons open season by winning three of four
The Harlan third- and fourth-grade team opened its schedule by winning three of four games.
Harlan edged Pineville 24-22 as Landon Myers, Eli Fryer and Jaxson Perry each scored six points for the Dragons. Colton Delaney and Caden Meffers scored two each.
Deacon Partin led Pineville with nine points and was followed by Sean Bennett with five, Braxton Ferguson with four and Lane Brigmon and Dalton Abner with two each.
Myers scored eight and Delaney added six in the Dragons’ 21-9 victory over Red Bird. Fryer scored four, while Perry added two and Cameron Witt scored one.
Myers scored eight in a 30-27 loss to Stinnett. Fryer tossed in six. Delaney and Cole Cornett chipped in with four each. Perry and Meffers added three and two points, respectively.
Myers paced Stinnett with 23 points.
Delaney scored eight and Myers added six as the Dragons edged Barbourville 20-19. Fryer tossed in four and Perry contributed two.
Smith scored 10 to pace Barbourville.
