MANCHESTER — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a portion of KY 160 in Harlan County (milepoints 6.357 – 7.353) will be closed beginning Oct. 29 and is expected to conclude Nov. 2.

Work times will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Church Street will be used for a detour for cars and small trucks only.

The road closure is necessary to allow KYTC crews to perform culvert replacement operations.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
