HCHS students review career options

A walk down the hallway at Harlan County High School on Friday afternoon provided a glimpse of possible career options for students who took part in the career fair program.
The career options class at HCHS, led by teacher Robin Sanders, put together the program with representatives from 14 businesses around the region participating.
“I’m super proud of my students for planning and executing a successful career fair,” Sanders said. “This was an excellent opportunity for our juniors and seniors to receive information about different careers. I’m thankful for the willingness of all those who participated in helping students see what they have in store for their futures.”
“The career fair was very good and very eye opening for our juniors and seniors,” said Emily Collett. “There were many careers represented, and it helped so many kids figure out what suited them best. Mrs. Sanders, along with the career options class, worked extremely hard on this and we are so happy with the way it turned out.”
“The career fair was a very good opportunity for our juniors and seniors. We were blessed to have so many careers represented,” added Chris Brown. “There was a lot of work put into the event by our career options class. I’m so glad it went even better than planned.”
