The Loyall United Methodist Women met on Sept. 25 in the church fellowship hall. Barbara Wills opened the meeting with prayer and called the meeting to order.

George Ann Lovely read the minutes and gave the treasurer’s report from the August meeting.

In the business portion, the women were reminded to bring toys for the month to be given to Mike Howard’s Santa Mission.

The items for the Ann Heck Food Pantry at the Harlan Methodist Church for October were: Cans of chicken and dumplings and canned yams.

Audrey Saylor and Carla Hammons presented the program based on “Resurrection Plant and Living Water.”

Refreshments were served to Barbara Wills, Kathy White, Brenda Sullivan, George Ann Lovely, Johnnie Hagy, Audrey Saylor, Beverly White, Valerie Body, Ann Roark and Carla Hammons.

The next meeting was scheduled Oct. 23 in the Loyall United Methodist fellowship hall.
