Boo Bash 2017

Gearing up for local Halloween festivities, the annual Boo Bash was held Saturday at the Village Center Mall yielding numerous Halloween costumes to be displayed for the costume contest. A line was formed as each contestant prepared for their turn to display their costume on stage for the judges to view. Judges were provided by Jewel Craft.

Weston Nolan was awarded the best overall costume, as he graced the stage dressed as a fire chief inside a fire truck.

The audience cheered as Carson Halcomb, escorted by his mother Logan Brown, crossed the stage dressed as a kissing booth.

Brenton Gross, dressed as Spiderman was given a balloon by a Star Wars Stormtrooper, portrayed by Rhonda Howard, owner of Rhonda’s Merle Norman.

Dressed as a pretty potion witch, Alexis Curtis was helped off the stage by a Star Wars Storm Trooper, portrayed by Rhonda Howard, owner of Rhonda’s Merle Norman.

River Luttrell, dressed as a pink poodle, took a break after gracing the stage in her ensemble. Picture with her is her mother Kalyn Middleton.

For many of the kids attending the costume contest it was a treat to be escorted from the stage and given a balloon by a Star Wars Stormtrooper. Behind the mask as Rhonda Howard, owner of Rhonda’s Merle Norman.
