Breast Cancer Awareness event held at Southeast

<p>Photos submitted</p> <p>The Student Government Association on the Harlan campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College recently held its annual Breast Cancer Awareness event for both morning and evening students. Erica Farmer Miller, SKCTC Paths 2 Promise Coordinator, introduced Savanna Wynn, family nurse practitioner, who discussed the importance of screenings and self-exams. Cancer survivor Charlotte Hodge addressed the evening students along with Pam Bailey, registered radiologic technologist and mammographer, and Jonathan Boggs CCMA, oncology patient navigator, both of Harlan ARH Hospital. SGA President Tamara Miller played an essential role in the planning of the event.</p>
