The Kingdom Come SWAPPIN’ MEETIN’ and Black Bear Festival will be held Oct. 6 and 7 on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College.

The 43rd annual Dillion Asher REUNION will be held Oct. 6-7. The reunion will be held on Friday in the Ray Harm Room at Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville with dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. in the dining room of the lodge, and a social gathering and business meeting at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the reunion will be held at Cardinal House in Queendale (close to Dillion Asher’s log cabin). There will be an all-day potluck picnic beginning at noon (bring a covered dish).
