Several indictment warrants were served over the weekend by the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office.

According to HCSO Chief Deputy Matt Cope, the warrants were a result of investigations that were conducted by sheriff’s deputies and presented to the Harlan County Grand Jury.

The following people were arrested:

* Tiffany Mitchell, 31, of Wallins, was charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Malachi Hodge, 28, of Coldiron, was charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (Heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia and persistent felony offender II.

* Gregory Stephens, 42, of Coldiron, was charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (Heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Angel Foley, 22, of Cawood, was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Gloria Mefford, 31, of Totz, was arrested by Sgt. Chris Brewer on a warrant that was obtained for first-degree wanton endangerment. She was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.

Additional Harlan County Circuit Indictment warrants are outstanding and additional arrests are pending.
