Goshen’s 12-point night sends Rosspoint to win

Samantha Goshen scored 12 points to lead Rosspoint to a 39-11 win over Green Hills in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.

Serenity Whitehead led Green Hills with six points.

Faith Hoskins led Rosspoint (4-3) to a 44-14 win in the fifth- and sixth-grade game as she scored 14 points.

Alisha Middleton scored seven for Green Hills.

Rosspoint won 3-2 in a fourth-grade game.

The Lady Cats play at Wallins on Monday. Green Hills plays at Wallins on Tuesday.

Lady Cats stay perfect as they roll past Harlan

Evarts continued its season-long winning streak by rolling past Harlan 37-13 on Thursday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.

Aliyah Cloud scored 13 points and Jaylin Smith added 11 for the 8-0 Lady Cats.

Raegan Jones led Harlan (0-14) with seven points.

Evarts won 22-21 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Carly Madden and Ashley Preston each scored seven for the 7-3 Lady Cats.

Wynn led Harlan with seven points.

Evarts won 17-10 in a fourth-grade game. Macy Jones scored seven for the Lady Cats, while Willow Peace tossed in four and Haley Huff, Chelsey Farley and Daisha Marlowe added two each.

The Lady Cats travel to Black Mountain on Tuesday.
