Board members of the Harlan County Farm Bureau recently held their annual meeting and award presentation at their Harlan office. Seen are members of the HCFB, from left: Nobe Baker, Nola Sizemore, Vice-President Paul Caldwell, President Don Miniard, Dustin Miniard, Ineda Howard, Bill Middleton and Secretary Nathan Boggs. President Don Miniard noted thus far in 2017 approximately $10,000 in scholarships have been awarded to students in Harlan County. The board also approved four resolutions benefiting Harlan County residents and eastern Kentucky. They also approved a donation to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
