All UK games featured on national TV

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KT) — All of Kentucky’s men’s basketball games will be televised not only locally and regionally, but also nationally this season.

All games will be televised through the ESPN app, which includes ESPN, ESPN2, and the SEC Network. All games on the CBS Network also can be streamed online.

Kentucky’s game against Kansas will be televised on ESPN, while the UCLA and Louisville contests will be shown on CBS Sports. The UK-Louisville encounter will be at 1 p.m. on CBS. Overall, 12 of Kentucky’s 13 non-conference opponents played in the postseason last year, with eight of those competing in the NCAA Tournament.

In the SEC, nine of the 14 teams in the league had recruiting classes ranked nationally. Three league teams advanced to the Elite Eight last year.

Big Blue Madness, the Blue-White game and exhibition games against Thomas More and Centre College will be televised on the SEC Network.

Kentucky replaces 92.6 percent of its scoring and 76.6 percent from of its rebounding from last year’s squad.
